Call Of Duty Mobile Season 11 Brings Winter Events And Lets Players Plant Holiday Trees
Season 11 of Call of Duty Mobile is arriving soon, and the big update is themed around the upcoming winter holiday. Call of Duty’s latest blog post details what players can expect for Season 11, including holiday themed map changes, a brand-new battle pass, and more.
Call of Duty Mobile Season 11: Siren Song arrives on December 6 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET. Season 11 includes a brand-new battle pass with 50 tiers of free and premium items, including new operator skins, weapon blueprints, CoD Points, and various winter-themed cosmetics.
One of the highlights within the free tiers of the battle pass is the Misdirection battle royale class at Tier 14, which is a new class type designed to disorient enemies. At Tier 21, players can unlock the Groza assault rifle from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
The premium pass will include holiday-themed weapon blueprints and skins, including Alex’s Sweater Weather and Lerch’s Chemical Santa operator skins. Starting with Season 11, players who purchase the pass for three consecutive seasons will be rewarded with a unique calling card.
For multiplayer, the Siren Song update includes a holiday-themed version of the Miami Blitz map, which is jazzed up with festive lights and decorations.
There’s also a new mode to try with the “Surprise Skill Playlist.” In this mode, new skills will activate every 30 seconds, and these changes can dramatically alter the flow of the match. According to the blog post, there will be two versions of the Surprise Skill Playlist, one featuring changes in which all players are affected by the same change and one in which each player receives a different skill. Some of the possible skills players can receive includes a double jump, long slide, the Bull Charge operator skill, and the Cranked ability where players must chain together kills to avoid exploding.
In battle royale, the update includes the ability to plant holiday trees. At the start of every match, players will receive a sapling that they can plant, fertilize, and decorate to receive rewards. This is done by collecting fertilizer and decorations throughout the match. Adding the fertilizer helps the tree to grow, and more rewards are available as the tree gets bigger.
There’s also an additional Christmas event themed around tree decorating. In this event, players earn energy for completing daily missions. The earned energy can be spent placing and decorating a tree, and once complete, the player can move onto a new tree. Milestone rewards are earned as players decorate and complete more trees. Rewards include a weapon blueprint for the M13 assault rifle, a new operator skin, and other cosmetics.
Additionally, Call of Duty is offering 12 Days of Deals, which is a holiday sale for store discounts on various cosmetics. Each day brings new discounted items, with the first day beginning December 21 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET.
As always with seasonal updates, players can expect additional content and quality-of-life improvements with Season 11, including new seasonal challenges, store bundles, and more.
Season 11: Siren Song arrives on the same day as Season 1 of Modern Warfare 3, and this inaugural season is set to bring brand-new multiplayer maps and another story act for Zombies mode. Warzone’s seasonal update includes integration with MW3, the new Urzikstan map, and a holiday LTM.
