How To Watch The Fortnite Remix Finale Event Featuring Juice WRLD

It’s been so long that plenty of newer players never got to experience them, but in Fortnite’s earlier years, Epic hosted a couple massive concert events that put the more recent Creative mode musical events for Metallica, Kid Laroi, and others to shame. The Travis Scott and Ariana Grande Rift Tour shows were spectacles that Fortnite hasn’t been able to match since. But it’s starting to look like the Remix Finale event, which will bring Chapter 5 to a close on November 30 with a virtual concert featuring, Snoop Doggs, Eminem, Ice Spice, and the late Juice WRLD, may just live up to the Rift Tour’s legacy.

This is just a big occasion for Fortnite that Epic is even giving away a free collaboration skin, the cel-shaded Slayer Juice WRLD skin, to anyone who logs in between now and the end of the season.

Anyone who logs into Fortnite before the end of the season will receive this Juice WRLD skin for free.

As has been the case with the finales for past chapters, this live event will occur on a Saturday, followed by downtime and maintenance in the evening and a new chapter launch on Sunday morning. The Remix Finale is scheduled for 2 pm ET / 11 am PT on November 30, with a possible encore after. And unlike the last few events, the Remix Finale will not take place during rounds of battle royale–it will actually have its own separate playlist this time, which will be easily findable at the top of the Discover feed in the lobby.

We don’t know everything these artists and Epic have in store for us, but we know we’ll be getting performances of two new songs–Snoop’s Another Part of Me featuring Sting, and Juice WRLD’s Empty Out Your Pockets. But that will hardly be the end of it, since Ice Spice and Eminem are also involved.

Since this is a live event, it will begin at the scheduled time whether you’re there or not, so it’s best to get in early in case there are login queues–and it’s pretty likely that there will be. Fortnite will not go offline immediately after the event ends–downtime is scheduled for 10 pm ET, eight hours after the event. There may be an encore performance or two of the Remix Finale during that interval.

Along with the event itself, Juice WRLD is receiving a full slate of cosmetics, including two skins, multiple emotes and jam tracks, and a keytar. One of the skins, the cel-shaded Slayer Juice WRLD, will be granted for free to anyone who logs into Fortnite between November 25 and when the game goes offline on November 30.

The rest of the Juice WRLD cosmetics, including a reactive skin and a contrail that plays music, a la Metallica’s Ride the Lightning contrail from this summer, will be purchasable from the item shop starting November 27.
