It’s that time of the year again, as The Game Awards took place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California. While awards for Game Of The Year, Best Game Direction, and many more were revealed throughout the night, a plethora of trailers and announcements for what’s coming next also ran throughout the show.
This gallery holds every announcement made throughout The Game Awards 2024, from the pre-show to the last announcement of the night. We’ve already seen a new Ninja Gaiden, Slay The Spire 2, and an update to Dave The Diver, with more to come.
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound
A brand-new Ninja Gaiden game was the first announcement of the night, as Dotemu has partnered with Koei Tecmo and The Game Kitchen–developers of Blasphemous–for Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, coming next year.
One Move Away
One Move Away is a new first-person game from Ramage Games and Playstack about packing up and moving to a new home. It is set to launch in 2025 on Steam.
Slay The Spire 2
Next was a gameplay trailer for Slay The Spire 2, the sequel to the indie hit deckbuilding RPG from Megacrit. This new edition will launch in early access in 2025.
Dave The Diver In The Jungle
Dave The Diver is headed to the jungle in his next adventure, but it was not clear if In The Jungle is another expansion or a full-blown sequel. Dave The Diver In The Jungle is set for a late 2025 release.
Thick As Thieves
Thick As Thieves is a new multiplayer immersive stealth game from Warren Spector, one of the minds behind Thief and Deus Ex. Players will choose from multiple character archetypes, including The Hood, The Spider, and the Chameleon.

Shadow Labyrinth
Shadow Labyrinth is a new metroidvania-style game from Bandai Namco, where a hooded figure must traverse a dangerous world with a robot that looks and acts suspiciously like Pac-Man in tow. It is scheduled to launch in 2025 for consoles and PC.

Steel Paws
The next game from Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki and in partnership with Netflix Games, Steel Paws is set for a 2025 launch on mobile devices.

Sloclap has announced its next project: Re/Match, an arcade soccer game with walls around the field allowing for slick trick shots. No specific release date has been announced.
Solasta 2
Solasta 2 pits players against a dark force led by an evil sorceress named Shadwyn. This turn-based tactical RPG, based on SRD 5e, is set for release next year.

The Witcher 4
CD Projekt Red marked the first world premiere of The Game Awards’s main show, with a first look at The Witcher 4. The trailer follows Ciri, the protagonist for this next game, as she tries to prevent a human sacrifice by killing a demon terrorizing a small village.
Elden Ring: Nightreign
From Software followed CD Projekt Red’s surprise announcement with a surprise of its own. Elden Right: Nightreign’s debut trailer showed multiple Tarnished fighting against massive bosses across The Lands Between.

Project Robot
Fumito Ueda, the creator of Ico, Shadow Of The Colossus, and The Last Guardian, surprised The Game Awards audience with a brief look at his next game. Currently untitled, the brief trailer showed a human trying to avoid a cataclysmic wave, only to fall short.
Split Fiction
The latest from Hazelight Studios and Josef Fares, Split Fiction is another co-op adventure like It Takes Two and No Way Out. This time, two story writers–one who writes sci-fi, the other fantasy–must traverse levels swapping between both genres in order to escape the simulation they’re stuck in.

Steel Hunters
Wargaming’s next IP is Steel Hunters, a 12-person multiplayer shooter that’s part hero shooter, part battle royale, and part extraction shooter. Players control massive mechs called Hunters as they fight for Starfall, a rare substance that powers a post-apocalyptic world.
Borderlands 4
Randy Pitchford took the stage to reveal the first gameplay trailer for Borderlands 4, which also mixed in some story spotlights in the form of a massive war between familiar bandits and an invading force.

Clive Rosfield in Tekken 8
The last character for Tekken 8’s Year 1 Character Pass was revealed to be Clive Rosfield, the protagonist from Final Fantasy XVI. He will be available for download December 16.

New Virtua Fighter
A new Virtua Fighter entry was confirmed by Sega. It will be developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, known for the Yakuza/Like A Dragon franchise.

Ryu Ga Gotoku wasn’t done, however, as it also shown a gameplay trailer for Project Century, a third-person action game set in Japan in 1915.

Turok: Origins
The classic Nintendo 64 first-person shooter franchise Turok is being rebooted thanks to Saber Interactive and Universal. The debut trailer showed three warriors facing off against a horde of dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
Sega announced yet another new game with Sonic Riders: CrossWorlds, a new entry in the Sonic Racing series. A brief teaser showed Shadow the Hedgehog driving off in a souped-up sports car before the words “Coming Soon” flashed on-screen.
Mafia: The Old Country
The first gameplay trailer for Mafia: The Old Country, which was teased leading up to The Game Awards, was unveiled during the show. The trailer shows third-person cover-based shooting action, as well as a initiation ceremony to be a part of the family the game will follow.

Okami Sequel
The penultimate announcement was another from Capcom, which revealed that a sequel to Okami is currently in development. Clovers is the name of the studio on the project, and Hideki Kamiya is the head of the project.

The final announcement came from Naughty Dog, which is moving from The Last Of Us to a new IP, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. The brief teaser trailer showed a conversation between a bounty hunter and her handler, who gives her a new target that looks suspiciously like Kumail Nanjiani.
