Ash Echoes is all about building your team and making smart strategies rather than just focusing on how powerful each character is. Keep in mind that the ratings here are just a guideline, not strict rules. It’s important to understand how each character and team works together for a better experience.
In this Tier List, characters are rated based on how well they do in their specific roles. This setup helps with team building. Therefore, saying things like “Freda is stronger than Hassel” doesn’t really apply, since they have very different roles and functions.

Categories
Damage Dealer: These characters focus on dealing the most damage for the team.
Specialist: This type of Echomancer can take on various roles. They provide valuable support through skills like Barrier PEN, Control, Interception, creating Elemental Zones, and other tactics that change the battlefield. They can also trigger Elemental Reactions to help the team win.
Buffer/Debuffer: These Echomancers can boost the abilities of friendly damage dealers or weaken enemy defenses, increasing the damage they take. This greatly improves the team’s damage output for a short time.
Survival: Healers and Tanks make sure the team stays alive. Some can also provide extra support or deal a bit of damage.

Criteria
S Tier: The absolute best at their category, while also offering extra benefits.
A Tier: On par with the characters from S Tier, but lack the extra benefits that make the S Tier unique.
B Tier: On par with the characters from A Tier, but have some sort of drawback, such as needing extra investment or a specific environment.
C Tier: Not bad, but definitely need investment or specific circumstances to shine and reach the same level of B Tier or above.
D Tier: Characters who work on very specific (niche) circumstances or who rarely play their role, functioning as a placeholder or substitute for characters who are from tiers above.
