No One Asked For Minecraft Pringles, But Here They Are
Kellogg’s and Microsoft have teamed up to create a new flavor of Pringles based on the “Suspicious Stew” from Minecraft. The new item brings “the iconic stew to life,” the snack company said in a press release announcing this unexpected partnership.
What do they taste like? According to the news release, snackers can expect “a burst of rich, hearty, and savory flavor.”
“With each flavor-packed crunch, fans will be met with a novel tasting experience that leaves them saying, ‘So that’s what suspicious stew tastes like!'” Kellogg’s said in its announcement.
In the world of Minecraft, the Suspicious Stew is an in-game item that players can consume to get a variety of boosts and perks for a period of time. Eating the snack in real life, however, won’t do anything very positive for you, but indulgence is fun and rewarding in its own right.
In addition to the new flavor, Kellogg’s has rolled out a promotion whereby people who buy any Pringles can or other participating products can upload their receipt to KelloggMinecraftPromo.com to get 350 Minecoins. There is also a “Build for Better” contest in which players can create a play space in Minecraft for a chance to have professionals build it into a real-life playground. More details are available at the website linked above.
The Pringles Suspicious Stew flavor is available across the US now while supplies last.
