Second Magic: The Gathering Hatsune Miku Collaboration Set For Secret Lair Summer Superdrop

Magic: The Gathering’s next batch of Secret Lair offerings, the Summer Superdrop 2024, is on its way. After debuting with the Sakura Superstar drop in the spring, Hatsune Miku will return with Digital Sensation, a drop of six more reprints themed around the vocaloid star, which will go on sale June 24.

Digital Sensation is the second of four Hatsune Miku drops coming to Magic’s Secret Lair limited-time shop between now and the end of the year, with each drop focused on a different theme. Digital Sensation highlights the “power of music,” as shown through the artwork on all six of these reprints.

Hatsune Miku is the latest video-game-related franchise to come to Magic: The Gathering through Secret Lair, with Tomb Raider making its MTG debut back in November. Other video game IP to collaboration with Wizards Of The Coast for MTG are Fallout, which featured in a set of four pre-constructed decks for the Commander format, and Assassin’s Creed, which will launch July 5 in Beyond Boosters, Collector Boosters, and a special Starter Kit.

The Secret Lair Summer Superdrop 2024 will go on sale June 24 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. The Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku: Digital Sensation drop will cost $30 for non-foil and $40 for foil, and both foil and non-foil will be available in English and Japanese.
