Capcom Next Livestream To Reveal New Details On Dead Rising, Resident Evil

Just when we thought the summer livestream season might be winding down, Capcom has announced an update show of its own: Capcom Next – Summer 2024 will kick off July 1 at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET, and it will feature updates on three games (and three games only) over 25 minutes.

The stream will include “first details” on Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, which was spontaneously revealed via social media earlier this week. The event will also provide updates on the company’s next release–Kunitsu-Gami: Path Of The Goddess, which launches July 19–and the iOS/Mac port of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

A notable omission from the Capcom Next event is Monster Hunter Wilds, though it was featured during Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest Live event earlier this month. That event also revealed the second season of DLC fighters for Street Fighter 6, which includes SNK’s Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui, who will be the first-ever guest characters in the core Street Fighter franchise.

Capcom made waves during the recent Nintendo Direct livestream as well, with two long-requested compilation titles. Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will include seven games from Capcom’s crossover history with Marvel. Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, meanwhile, combines both of Miles Edgeworth’s solo spin-offs into one package–and marks Ace Attorney Investigations 2’s first appearance in the West.
