When does Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 begin?

Will Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 have a live finale event?

Fortnite held its end-of-season live event on Saturday, February 15, and it saw the NPC Daigo become kaiju-sized and have a huge fight against loot island boss Shogun X. The battle left a big, golden, glowy thing up in the mount above Warrior’s Watch that will remain until the season ends.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 trailer

Epic has dropped a proper gameplay trailer for the new season, showing off the battle pass lineup and new Crime City location, as well as the new heist gameplay, complete with drivable security vans. Check it out.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 battle pass and season theme

Chapter 6 Season 2 will be another heist season, as we can see in the trailer above. Though this time it seems like we’ll also be heisting on the move rather than just breaking into more vaults–we’ve got big armored security vans out there, and the train has an armored car and turrets now.

Fortnite has had a lot of heist seasons, including two different ones in Chapter 4. Since Chapter 6 already echoes Chapter 4 with the feudal theme and a throwback version of the Japan biome from that map–Seaport City is basically proto-Mega City in terms of its layout and structure, and the surrounding areas are very similar–the return of a prominent Chapter 4 theme isn’t too shocking.
