Hi guys! There will be a new game added to the Ragnarok franchise on 11/10! GRAVITY has announced the official release of Ragnarok Origin MMORPG in Canada and the United States. Many interesting features await! Keep reading for a basic beginner guide on jobs, class and equipment.

 

 

Job/Class in Ragnarok Origin 

  1. Just like the classic Ragnarok Online game, the game starts with you as a Novice and then you can upgrade your job into an advanced job.
  2. So far, (as the time this article is written) there are 6 Jobs/classes available in this Ragnarok Origin. These jobs/classes are Swordsman, Acolyte, Mage, Archer, Thief, and Merchant.
  3. After your job-level reach level 60, you can upgrade your job/class into the next advanced job (2nd Job).

 

Swordsman → Knight → Lord Knight

Acolyte → Priest → High Priest

Mage → Wizard → High Wizard

Archer → Hunter → Sniper

Ragnarok Origin Skill Description

  • There is still no information related to the alternate jobs such as Crusader (Swordsman), Monk (Acolyte), Sage (Mage), Bard/Dancer (Archer), Rogue (Thief), and Alchemist (Merchant).
  • You have to reach a certain level to upgrade your class
    • From Novice to 1st Job: unlocked at level 10
    • From 1st Job to 2nd job: unlocked at Base Level 40, and 1st Job Level 40
    • From 2nd Job to 3rd Job: unlocked at Base level 70, and 2nd Job level 40

 

 

Equipment in Ragnarok Origin

In this Ragnarok Origin, the equipment is divided into 8 categories: Weapon, Off-Weapon, Armor, Cloak, Shoes, Accessories, and Headgear.

Ragnarok Origin Basic Guide

  1. You can get equipment like Weapon, Off-Weapon, Armor, Cloak, Shoes, and Headgear from the weapon shop, drop from the dungeon, or craft. While you can only get the accessories from the monster hunting drop.
  2. For the advanced equipment (Purple equipment) requires a special Blueprint to craft. You can get the blueprint from the Hallheim dungeon reward, or by exchanging the blueprint shard from the Hallheim NPC. Certain level blueprint, need a certain level Blueprint Shard.
  3. If you want to see all the available equipment, you can see it in the Equipment database (Diary → Equipment Book)

You can also strengthen your equipment through Refinement, open slot for the card, and also through enchantment

 

 

 

How to Download and Play Ragnarok Origin on PC

  1. Download and install NoxPlayer on your PC

  2. Complete Google sign-in to access the Play Store

  3. Look for Ragnarok Origin in the search bar and install the game

  4. Click the Ragnarok Origin icon on your home screen to start the game
